Public Comment at Board of Regents Meeting
If you wish to provide verbal public comment at the board meeting, please contact the Office of the Board of Regents by noon on the day before the meeting by emailing CUBoardofRegents@cu.edu. To help us process your request efficiently, please write “Public Comment” in the subject line.
Include the following in your email:
- Your full name
- Your affiliation or organization (e.g., UCCS student government, faculty, community member)
- The specific topic you plan to discuss
- A member of the Board office team will follow up with you to confirm and provide additional details.
On-Site Sign-Up & Timing
- Advance Sign-Up Priority: A sign-up sheet will also be available shortly before the meeting begins. Because time for public comment is limited, priority will be given to those who register in advance, though we will do our best to accommodate everyone who wishes to speak.
- Time Limits: To ensure all voices have a chance to be heard, speakers are requested to limit their comments to two minutes.
- Group Spokespersons: Groups sharing similar viewpoints are kindly asked to designate a single spokesperson to speak on behalf of the group.
Written Comments
If you prefer to submit your thoughts in writing, you are welcome to email them to CUBoardofRegents@cu.edu. Your comments will be shared and posted within the official meeting agenda. Please use “Written Public Comment” as your email subject line.
