This morning, Regent Chance Hill, who represents the 5th Congressional District, announced he will resign his seat on the University of Colorado Board of Regents immediately to pursue new professional opportunities outside the state.

Regent Hill has been a dedicated public servant for nearly half a decade and a consummate professional.

“Regent Hill was a passionate representative for the perspectives held by voters in his district. His contributions to the Board of Regents and the university were greatly appreciated,” said Regent Jack Kroll, chair of the Board of Regents.

“Regent Hill’s leadership and integrity have been an asset to this Board of Regents, and he will be missed,” said Regent Sue Sharkey, vice chair of the Board of Regents.

“Regent Hill has been a strong voice for the university and the people of the 5th Congressional District. I am grateful for his contributions and wish him well,” said President Todd Saliman.
